G6R zero ping ram and other ups... whats the best?
Just wanting to get some opinions on some of the G6r ups that are out there and what are some of the ones that make the most difference wither it be a new bolt, poppet, or what I'm very interested in is the ZERO PING RAM. If anyone has tried it please let me know what you thought and any other opinions on any other ups. Thanks guys

No performance gain over the stock ram, it just stops the "ping" sound some G6Rs make.
I love my LP poppet and pillow bolt.

like he said zero ping doesn't change the feel of the gun or any other aspect except the ping sound some of them have
the stock bolt is actually a very good one. the pillow bolt Bob makes alot of people like as do I.
LP poppet seems to smooth the gun some but it's not some huge amount
my favorite upgrade has been my trigger. I got the POWER saber trigger and it's just very comfy and easy to walk once setup the way I like it

The upgrade that will make the most difference is the barrel that best matches the size of paint you most often use.
Which barrel you choose is completely user preference.
After that probably the LP poppet but really it will be a marginal gain in smoothing out your shot while sacrificing some efficiency.
Truthfully the G6R is actually really solid all around just stock.

Get a barrel kit and pressure tester. LP poppet helps too, but is not a must.

I have a pillow bolt on mine and soon a new trigger.
But really all U need is a tester and gauges....

Do yourself a favor and replace the stock pressure gauges on the tester with ashcroft ones. They are about $10 a piece and greatly increase the accuracy of the measurement of the pressures.

I remember back when Only Dragons and Species would ping and people LOVED it because it was a result of those bodies being machined from solid Billet Blocks.
Regular extruded bodies are not as dense so the ping tone is on a lower node and does not reverberate enough to be heard.
I'd rather invest in other things.

Do you know how many of these stupid threads pop up everyday on what is best for my marker? Use the friggin search bar! Threads like this and the do i need a pressure tester make me want to run over my G6R on my way to buya freakin TIPPMANN!

personally, I don't think the G6R needs anything to shoot better, the only thing you need is a pressure tester, orings, dow 55, and some triflow. Your gun will shoot, shoot, and shoot some more.
Most of the upgrades are just for preference of the user. If you want to make it a bit smoother, LP poppit. If you play alot of semi-only, the 4c eyes are nice. It just depends. But you don't need any upgrades to make it shoot better. Out of the box you can't beat it.
