Notice that this could be done today when I took off the grips when I recived my gun today. I didnt think of this idea but I did realized it seemed like the grip panels are suppose to press up against the trigger pin in order to reduce sway of the trigger. I am going to give this a go.

Wonder if a old credit card would work better? It being plastic it wouldn't have as much give as paper and it would be more resistant to moisture

Credit card was too thick in my case. It raised the grip panels and didnt help reduce the trigger play at all

I tried it yesterday and it did take a majority of the trigger play out. Pretty simple.

I used shins from a rc car electric motor the fit inbetween the trigger and the brass inserts in the frame.

You can just place the trigger off center on the trigger pin. That way the grip pushes it to 1 side. I didn't need the business card and mine has 0 side to side play.

Mine came out of the box 0 side to side play. I noticed when I centered the trigger on the trigger pin the side to side play was really bad. But once I pushed the trigger pin to one side, it took out the side to side play

I'm bumping this (really old) thread instead of making my own, it's got some tips in it.

Tried offsetting the trigger pin, didn't work. Neither did putting credit card/paper/tin foil under the grip panel.

What worked for me was getting a small rectangle of paper, folded 2 times (4 layers) and putting it over the top leaf spring (between the body & grip frame). This seemed to secure the bushings and take out 90% of the side to side movement (it was noticeable).

There's still a little (looks like movement within the bushings?), but it's not tooo bad.
