2012 DC Challenge Layout

Played this layout on Sunday. The 50 snake has money shots all day long.

you mean to 50 snakito?! Yes, but there are also some hefty shooting lanes one must pass in order to feast at the 50 snakito.

my question is should we expect the 2 extra bricks from the NPPL bunkers to be added in in a week or two? or is this it set in stone? I only ask because DC is so far out that it wouldnt surprise me if there were changes.

Very astute question my man. I think the answer is yes. HB had all 4 bricks in use, and Chicago had 2 initially, then added 2 more for the 4 total. This layout so far only has 2, so if I were a betting man and the last 2 events this year used 4...thats where my money would be. Lets try to guess where they would be though..

my guess would be on the inside of the snake, like DC, between snake 1 and 2 and maybe shift the 50 brick more towards the wing.

but the reason i ask is that i dont think you could put them anywhere on the field without it feeling real cluttered, like too crowded..

NPPL just answered the question on facebook: 2 bricks only; the layout will stay as pictured.

Anybody gathered any interesting/creative breakout ideas for this layout so far? Ive practiced on it a couple of times, and we just keep seeing boring stuff with no imagination from other teams...

We have practiced on the layout twice so far and reffed a 3-man and 5-man event on this layout just this past weekend.

There are some really aggressive breakouts that can be done easily due to the clutter in the center. Looking forward to seeing all of the pro games on this in DC. Bonus that the All Star game also brings the top NPPL talent together during this event.

This wouldve been nice to know before the tournament my team played on this last a couple weekends ago! Kidding, we figured that out also and totally agree. OTB we were able to hit 50 wedges at will and 50 snake often. That medium dorito at snake50 is a damn game-changer.
