Check This Out! - original paintball art

Hi everyone,

My name is Sean Jones and have been trying to get out and play at madcow for some time now. One of the reasons I have not been out is because of funding

and another has been this project I have been working on:

This is something that I have been working on in my spare time. I am thinking of designing paintball themed t-shirts, stickers, and other printed materials like posters and such.

Why am I telling you all this? Well, I need some feedback, I need to know if anyone would like to see stuff like this done, especially from a Nebraska based graphic artist. If I get enough good feedback here I intend to start a Kickstarter (mass funding site for artists) and see if I can get something like this off the ground.

So let me know. Your feedback will help me to decide wether this project is worthwhile or something that could be let go.

I am mainly working in black and white and the stuff I am doing now is rough because I do it part time but I have some cool ideas and sketches for other things under wraps.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. To those who responded I have a follow up question. Do you think that you would like to see a t-shirt or other item with this kind of work on it?
Anyone who has looked and not commented, feel free to. I am open to criticism as well.

Like the 1st and 3rd. The last one (#4) doesn't catch/intrigue me and the 2nd one isn't something i would wear. I REALLY like your graphic in the 3rd with the TFD in the top right. Move that graphic in the first one to a more predominant place (lens maybe) and i like it even more.
This is cool stuff man. The composition style is different so you will definatly get attention. Try to capture some aspect in speed ball others seem to miss in their advertising (easier said that done i know)... Maybe that moment when a player is hit and is debating cheating or not, or the perfect moment when a movement changes the whole game, or the humility in victory...
I like it though sir. Keep it up. Got a guy on our team who does our Sketching and what not and he is amazing. People like you guys amaze me.

Thanks man. I keep looking at paintball as a whole and the Graphic Design that is done and the one thing that really gets me is that no one really looks toward illustration. I really appreciate the feed back on the fourth because it is somewhat of a style-istic break from the rest of it. I will keep pluggin away. Some of the stuff I will have will not be posted. I am hoping to initially sell posters and prints and then t-shirts of this and other stuff.

Thanks for the encouragement on the first and third ones, I really do feel that they have the most of "it" in them. Whatever that might be. Hopefully I will be able to start coming out to the fields in Nebraska soon as well!

For sure dude. Mad Cow would love to have you. Lots of different Genres of the sport to check out there too. Though you are doing illustration, surf through event photographers (D-day, Living Legends, Rogue Nation, Red Winder, ect) and look at the game through a lens. See which people like the most, or which draw you the most and see what it is captured in the picture that draws people. Sometimes it surprises me which shots are most popular.
