Went to play with my viking finally after getting the new lpr installed at DC. Shoots one ball...but on a string it makes a hiss and droops them out the barrel.

New battery didnt work. Lpr is set at 65ish. Has rt valve and a frenzy frame with tadao board. Dwell is set at 10.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jared, I don't see how it could be my ASA.

It's kind of weird...when it started doing the FSDO, if I took the back cap off and put the lpr pressure tester in, then shot a few shots, it would fix the issue.

The other weird thing that kept happening is this:





Basically the screw that activates the microswitch kept getting caught above the microswitch

Not sure why the heck that's happening. I fixed it once, then it happened again right before I put the gun in the gearbag.

I'm about to fix it again. I'd ask if I could drop the gun off this week, but I'm going to Michigan tomorrow until midnight on Friday for business.

Was just a bit disappointing as I was stoked to play, only to miss the first few games, then miss pretty much the entire late afternoon once I ran into the microswitch issue followed by the drop off issue again.

Edit: Just turned that screw as far as I could without making it activate the microswitch without touching it. That issue should now be solved...hopefully.

Double Edit: Jared, do you have anything that could make the piece of metal on the microswitch longer, so that I have more room with adjusting the trigger?

Same issue here with tadao + frenzy combo of microswitch lever being overshot by trigger set screw. Any solution to this issue would be great if you have it to share...

Yes the longer set screw would keep it from over traveling. The other two things would be good is if the trigger had a rear travel stop. It could be added to the trigger. That seems to be common due to the design of the frame, board location and tray.

An over-travel set screw tapped into the trigger or frame would help, definitely. A longer set screw in the actuating portion of the trigger would not help. As mentioned by OP, it would help if the microswitch had a longer blade. I was going to swap out a spare microswitch's blade with a roller at the end to see if it would help.

The soldered switch leaves too much slop for it to wiggle around, free floating from the board. Tempted to shim and "lock" it in place.
