the problem is the crappy plastic eye pipes! In your case it may be that the 2 o-rings allow a small gap in front of the pipe which then shifts back and forth and then cracks. Try one o-ring on the barrel and see if it makes a difference. Also make sure that the 2 channels that hold the pipe from rotating aren't possibly misshaped and as a result are twisting the eye pipe. In my guns the eye pipe goes in pretty easily if I don't force it and have it lined up straight before sliding it home. Mine are just tight enough that the it takes just a few ounces of force to slide in/out. I've personally not broken an eye pipe, but know plenty of people who have. They end up buying my spares. It makes me wonder if there is some differences in machining that makes mine easier on pipes.
