install gauge on relay

Just wondering what the best way is to reinstall the gauge on the relay? Should you just wrap a complete turn of teflon tape on the threads then screw it in? Blue loctite? I would imagine you'd need something so it doesn't leak, just not sure what exactly.

If possible i'd like to be able to have it lined up properly so it isn't crooked, but I guess it's not a huge deal as long as it works.

Thanks!

I've only ever used white teflon tape on gauge threads on all my markers and I've never had a leak.

Blue loctite is the best.

blue loctite or teflon tape. turn until it stops, then back it out til its lined up. let it sit for 24 hours. works great.

i use blue loctite on mine.

thanks for the replies!
I'm still working out some kinks in rebuilding the relay itself, but for now i'm using a complete turn of teflon and hand tightening it and it seems to work fine. I'll probably end up using the loctite since the teflon makes the gauge appear upside down when it's completely threaded in.

yea, the gauge isnt suppose to be turned completely in. i mean there is no harm in it. but every gauge from factory isnt all the way tightened.
