shaft 4 ?

so i put my barrel together, and i think it was missing the o ring because i cannot un screw the barrel at all (into two pieces, comes of marker just fine, and i also know its reverse threaded). i tried jar grips, vices, the freezer trick. nothing. sooo anyone got any other ideas for me to try, like its not a big deal really, it would just be nice to break it all down and have in the case instead of just tossing my barrel into my gear bag

This may sound crazy but it works. Twist the barrel like it isnt reverse threaded, then quicker turn the other way like your suppose too.

(this takes the threads out of the bind for a moment, enough to unthread it.

put barrel onto gun... wipe down the barrel with a towel or cloth, wipe your hands with towel or clothe

grip the tip of the barrel and keep twisting as if your tightening the barrel onto the gun... you should be able to break the seal if you crank hard enough as the barrels are reverse threaded... once the tips off the backs easy to get off the gun

when off new oring on the tip and a small drop of lube on the oring will stop it binding next time

It sounds like you're not turning it the correct way. PE barrels are reverse threaded in the middle. Turn them to the right (clockwise) to loosen.

Ice on the barrel back and heat on the tip. That way you are expanding the female end and shrinking the male end.

I'm not gonna lie, if I couldn't I would be so frustrated I would take it into a shop and have them use any tool on the face of the earth to separate it Break it in half if they had to...I'll buy another, I just can't stand it.

On a sane note, try the hot water or even the ice water/hot water combo. You should be able to get it.
