Just took mine out of the box yesterday for practice. All black ninja 2.0 (think I will have to add some color accents soon to it). Just switched it to PSP mode for some xball pratice and it ripped. I was worried about the air efficency but straight out of the box 7 pods plus hopper and still had 2000 psi left on my 68 / 4500 tank. I brought an 88 along but thankfully I wont need it. Hopefully after the breakin period its gets better but if it stays the same I will be happy, I put through 30 pods through it yesterday at practice and the efficency was great. Same average as I started going out with 8 pods instead of the 6 I orginally thought I would only get off it.

thats awesome. i just got mine in and love it but only had about a hoppers worth to shoot through it. are you running it on high, mid, or low pressure with those kinds of results and did you use the feather touch?
thanks

Stock setting so far

All Stock settings so far, no feathertouch. No first shoot drop off either. Out of box it chrono at 285 so i took it up to 295 - 298 on a string of 5. End of day re chrono it to see and it was still at 296 296 297 string of 3. Im using a hp tank, same tank I used on my closers and marqs and I got a ton of pods off them as well. Most likely put another 3-4 cases through it this weekends practice as well, but as long as it stays like this, the stock setting are perfect for me.

Just for the post above me, I wouldn't go expecting to get as good efficiency as the OP is talking about, that's very rare when it comes to a luxe.

Well don't know how rare, teammate is getting 8 pods plus hopper off his 68 as well. His is a new 2.0 as well one week older than mine. Seems like the efficiency issue is getting much better. Our other mate has a 1.5 and only gets 6 plus a hopper off his.

i know it is, i just wanted to see if this efficiency is achievable with hp and without the use of the feathertouch. i already ordered an EF Rod from Cajun just in case my needs the extra boost.

On average 8 pods and a hopper is doable on a stock luxe with a 68-45. Sizeing your paint correctly helps alot. It also depends on your field limit. Some fields are 280 instead of 300. This can mean alot in terms of efficiency.

Well, taking the feathertouch out should help with efficiency regardless of input pressure, the bolt cycles at a faster rate, and should in theory require less air. My 1.5, as of right now is at a dwell of 16, FSDO of 8, feathertouch out with a full NDZ polished and sprung internals and I currently get around 9 pods off a full 68 fill.

Update

Well got the most out of it today, went out with 8 pods and hopper shot them all, got 2 more from a teammate. Last player shot out with little air left had to one ball him to make sure there was enough behind it.

So 10 pods and a hopper with about 10 balls left air tank reading 0. Fill was 4500 on a 68 with ninja reg. I'm still using all stock settings as they are working perfect for the 2.0. Was a nice hot day about 90 also.
