Indoor Paintball Field Near Des Moines Iowa
Alright paintball players, Im in the process of trying to convert a very nice indoor soccer arena into an indoor professional paintball stadium. I cannot disclose all details as of yet but I do need feedback on here from all you paintballers about whether or not you would instantly go there and with the plans I have for it, it would be twice as cheap to play/practice compared to any field in Iowa, I can guarantee that. But I need all feedback to let me know and so I can further convince my colleagues! Thanks alot guys, remember your feedback and how quickly you spread the word determines whether or not this gets built!
Forgot to mention this: this is great guys keep it coming! ive got 80 some views and im already getting all the setup for the fields and everything coming along nicely, as a side note, it will be more expensive then typical field fee to use the reball field but not by much, it will be more expensive because you wont have to buy paint and your day will cost much less to play all day, one of the outdoor fields will also be speedball and will be a paint field so thats always the alternative. We will be holding tournaments and hopefully within a year of opening we will be buying a psp field for practice as well. I will be sponsoring one team to be our home team, potentially even two, Im considering having a tournament our opening weekend to decide who the home team will be thus deciding who receives the sponsorship, guys this is all coming togethor and its gonna be a great field, remember to tell everyone you know to come check out this thread, the more feedback this has the more my investors will be happy to throw me some change. Keep it coming guys!

one indoor field for reball use only, which means guys who want to practice you get in and its 40 bucks per player for a good amount of time. if you dont want to be practicing with reballs then we also will have an outdoor air field for paint practice.

Come one guys start letting me know here, we will have three fields, two air ball fields, one inside with reballs at 40$ all day play with no having to buy paint and one outside at 15$ all day play but you would have to buy paint, then one rec field for anyone who just wants to come and play. Tell all of your friends im hoping to have this up and done before the end of summer! ALL SERIOUS PLAYERS THIS IS LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE! I would have killed for a place like this when I was still in the PSP

you will see a good turnout. However you run a risk due to the reball situation. Some loaders that are commonly used tend to jam due to reball making well not as fun and huge hassle. Maybe a suggestion of using reball during the summer months and as weather turns towards the winter switching the indoor to a paint field. I dont run a field so dont know if so would be possible. ICU is the only indoor field I know of since MPG closed down and they have a pretty good turnout it seems. My recommendations is a turf field, and it a regulation sized field if possible will help the turnout plenty.

a solution to the reballs maybe using white paint with white netting, and i think turnout would be great aswell

Oh I would also like to add LIGHTING!! That is so crucial I don't know how many indoor fields I have played at and that has completely killed the experience.

I would totally come down. Speaking of reball, I would come there for winter and go there for spring and summer. Have a nice grass. For reball, its so important to have nice lighting and white netting to see better for the spectators. It would be a nice to have a turf for reball. I would COME.

how do you guys feel about a byop field? Or would it be better to just have the field paint only? Let me know guys.

I found when dealing with hoppers jamming is that you shouldn't be shooting more than 215 fps. Reballs wern't designed for high velocity.

I'd play if it were large and nice, and depending on its location.

BYOP sounds nice, until you dig into the logistics of it. Some tard brings in some old paint that has hardened or he's frozen with dry ice, etc.
How about FPO, but it's decent paint, and not crap.
