The reason why they updated internals in the SCM is that the first version was prone to creeping. Creeping lpr is creepy. You don't want a creepy lpr, it scares the solenoids.

I was always told that the new versions were the ones prone to creeping... Hmmm I guess you learn something new everyday.

I just got one of the JDS lpr's for my viking over the SCMIII.

SCM 3. There is a reason why its the 3rd reversion. Plus the older ones internals can flip.
