What if bob made a spool?
How would bob long users feel about it? What kinds of things would you want? Efficiency or plain out sexy smooth-flat shot? Let's get some of you guys to throw your ideas in the ring!
Who'd buy one??

Too many spool valve marker out there, and way too much drama about who's bolt system is a copy of whom. Personally I think it would be better to keep the marq and timmy platform.

I don't foresee much interest in a spoolie by bob. He makes what he considers perfection and any blast fan would not disagree.

So the best poppit marker manufacturer should not make the best spool valve
Marker in the world as well?

He wouldn't just for the fact that he'd have to pay royalties on the design since it's patented. I'd speculate that he'd be able to improve upon the design but I doubt he'd migrate from two proven platforms to a spool just on a whim.

There is one great design, not patented.

I'm sure if he did it, it would be a nice marker for sure. I think we would get efficiency and smoothness out of it.

Id rather him focus on what he does best. Im not sure another platform is needed. I wasnt too happy with the original Marqs put out.
Curiousity of course strikes and I think it would be cool to see.

I like to have a nice poppit, and a nice spool, just so I can sub out depending on my mood. So, I would definitely buy a BL spool, to match my G6r haha.
As far as what i would want in a spool from BL, mostly just smoothness, and quietness. I mean, if the G6r can be as quiet and smooth as it is, I would love to see what he can do with a spool.
Efficiency isn't as big a factor to me, but I know it is to some people, so that would be a welcome addition.
Basically, I would like a small, macro less spool, that doesn't kick or make noise. Or as close to that as possible. If he could do a spool that weighed about the same as the G6r (ballpark, I know that's a tall order) then i would be sold.

Efficiency in a spool isn't as important as smoothness/quiet IMO. In a poppit, it's all important
Just my opinion

My question is what would be gained over the marq design. I would certainly be interested in how bob would make it a blast spoolie over others though.

/\ Is prolly the top question ??
While I probably won't buy it.
The geo 2 platform has done Very well...
Luxes truely became a league of their own...
and the GT is getting REALLY good reviews..
But... it's entering a market that has become flooded, vapor, demon, zr1,
So I'm surprised Bob wants to make a move NOW. I'm interested in what he thinks he is going to blow the competition away with that sway my interest from 6+ other companies.
And really ... A Superhero usually does well when accompanied with a sidekick *amiright?*

I trust and believe he can make whatever he sets his mind on a superior product. The ONLY thing I like about the DM over a BL is (whether you agree or not) is the shot seemed flatter. Macro-less and some kind of unique milling. I think asking for the best efficiency possible goes without saying.

Forget about building a new marker until all orders are filled. Or at least just mine. Then carry on. Lol

You do realize that while orders are being filled and guns are being built there is also R&D and testing going on, right?
