There's probably hundreds of threads asking this butttt....

Is it absolutely nessessary to use a low pressure with the G6r?

What will it do to the gun if I use my "super" high pressure Ninja tank with it?

The most common thing I see always happen is the oring between the asa and frame becomes unseated and you get a leak.

You need to use low pressure or super low pressure. In a pinch, you can probably get away with high pressure however you run a significantly higher risk of blowing the internal macro seals in the marker. They simply aren't designed for high pressure. This also depends largely on what your manufacturer sets its tank at as "high pressure".

I would absolutely not recommend using super high pressure on the marker however as this even further exceeds the pressure range that the seals were designed for. Spend a little extra cash and get the right tank regulator for the gun (The ninja adjustable reg works great).

Just to make sure, SHP means that this is a high pressure tank only right?

SHP regs output at 1100 psi for Mags. 900 psi if you remove the shims which are for tippmanns.
With that high of a pressure I would be surprised if you didn't instantly blow out a seal between the asa/frame or frame/body. Bob doesn't recommend normal HP tanks, 800-900 psi, so SHP is like bringing a bomb to a knife fight.

You are right about the pressures, but there is no internal macroline on a g6r. All the air passages are milled in the grip frame and body.
If you use hp you risk blowing any oring that is in between the gun parts. Either in between the asa and grip, or between the grip and body halves.

I realize this, I was generically referring to the internal air passages as "internal macro". Sorry for the confusion.
