i just started to bring my lcd alive again, i bought a new battery off the forums and i have been charging it. the battery wont charge past 2 bars and the screen says Pin. it wont go to safe, so it wont allow me put it to live..
anyone had this problem before? and know how to fix?

any help would be greatly appreciated

So wait... It says PIN when you try to charge it? OR after its charged it says PIN? If its the first scenario then try switching the on/off toggle switch to the on position while charging. That will allow it to charge properly. If its the second then:

As far as the board: If it says pin, then either you need to get it reset via data link, or you might possibly have a bad board.

As far as the battery, its hard to tell. Where did you get it? is it new? Hope this helps.

Generally if it's giving you a PIN lockout the board is wonky. You can try inputting "0000" for the PIN and that will sometimes unlock it. Otherwise, a datalink reset might work, as Grizle said.
