first off, need pics of the asa you bought and the hole configuration, once you can take a pic / link us to it we can tell ya how to fix the problem. Should be either longer m screws but we gotta be sure, feed us the INFO
Are you running the stock a1 rail with the 'spreading' screws? You really need to crank them down for aftermarket rails, but don't want to crack the rail. Either run 2 grub screws down thru the rail mounting screw holes, or run the stock Asa. Why not just run the stock one? A much nicer profile then any cp
As wolfy said, just tighten down the screws some more, and be careful not to crack the rail. If you still can't get it to hold secure, use 10/32" grub screws down through the standard bottomline holes.
So I cranked on the asa screws, and it works. Like WOLF, and Doc stated, I had to really tighten them down... Wow. Didn't realize they needed to be tightened that much. Just always wanted to make sure that I didn't strip anything or over tighten and crack the rails.
On a side note though, on the right side of the CP asa, where I'm going to plug the hole with a grub screw, I can only get it to go halfway in, and that's with cranking it in. Even used some oil, but it didn't help. Suggestions?
