2012 G6r

Aired it up for first time with a SLP tank and I heard a leak coming from the main body. Tried to feel where the leak was coming from but could not feel where the leak was coming from. Any ideas?

Find the leak then fix it.

Without any info we can't help...

is it coming from inside the breech, or from the seam of the two body halves, or ram slot. each has a different fix

Might have to use soapy water to find the leak.

REMOVE THE BOARD AND ALL ELECTRONICS JUST IN CASE.

I'm not sure if it will penetrate to that point as I have never done it with electronics in the gun, just a precaution.

That's the problem. I hear the leak but can"t pinpoint the source. I hear it when I put my ear against the body of the marker.

Its either the poppet, ram, the body or frame to body seals.

My bet is on the body to frame/body seals. Those things are tricky to get to stay in the right place.

Did you take the marker apart straight out of the box?
How about since you noticed the leak?

You need to check all o rings AFTER reading the manual multiple times. That is pretty much the only cause for a leak.

relube orings on the poppet and ram, then lightly relube the orings connecting the two body halves, see if that helps.

i relubed the orings seperating the two halves and that seems to have done the trick. Thank you for helping and not trashing.

Out of curiosity, what lube are you using?

1. Could have a loose screw, body screws have to be tight or leaks will spring.
2. You could have a little grease on the derlen part of the poppet, this will cause a poppet leak.
3. Check all orings in the vicinity of the leak.
4. Check the manifold (little black rubber piece on the noid) - if this have lube/dirt on it it will leak slightly and come out the top frame screw under the bolt.
5. Go through all these steps, lightly grease the needed areas, put your gun back together, gas it up. If this doesn't work send it to BL.

Dow 55. Lightly lubed the orings between the two halves and no leaks. Thank you!

i know it looks like youve solved the problem, but after i regrease my poppet and body have orings it takes a couple of dry fires to seat everything correctly and seal up tight. after a fresh coat of lube i would try the same
