It's definitely NOT "user error" causing the Boards to fry Noids. NONE of the settings on the board have any affect or control over voltage output. This means there is either a software or hardware related issue inherent in the boards themselves.
The couple of BLAST guys I spoke with told me the very same thing so the cause is not in question. It's not uncommon for electronics manufacturers to come into faulty components that can and have caused these types of issues.
I'm an Apple Tech and even though they are extremely particular as to which high-end manufacturers they contract to build their electrical systems, about 1/3 of all their 17 iMacs suffered from an annoying Power Supply issue and it was found that either 2, 3, or 5 electrical components on the Power Supply Boards were not cured properly and would disintegrate internally which would not produce any physical signs of damage anywhere. These things just happen but regardless... Tadao is the way to go and I can assure you Will Roberson is fully focussed on Paintball as usual. His Boards are s good the Marker manufacturers contract him to design their boards and software so that keeps him busy. I can imagine Cookie (his mom) is taking care of all the daily business by herself as they have historically been the only 2 people working behind the scenes at Tadao all these years.
For all those of you who are Virtue fans, I'd suggest you either just get a Tadao or wait patiently to see if Virtue addresses the issue. If not, you can always change your mind and go Tadao.
Frankly, with the Boards being LED Tadao models anyway, I can't imagine why anyone would dish out additional monies for another board that offers nothing over the stock one other than OLED.

The trouble is that it may be a few select boards. It may be the entire set of boards. It may be combinations of user error, boards, etc. It's hard to say. And it's not like the boards do it as soon as they're plugged in. It's a month, two months...a few cases, the next day. Very random.

while I do like some of the classic Timmy's like the species and dragon and such I say come up with something new. no need to rehash an old design when the mill process has gotten better since then. go more outrageous and try a new design

I feel that the dragon would appeal to the largest market. while I voted for the species out of nostalgia, I think a custom mill like the dragon would sell like crazy for bob. Since blast is no longer playing on the pro circuit to focus on their guns and customer service, i can only imagine what he is cooking up in the shop. Excellent work Element BTW on the concept design.

I personally would love to see them do something like a species, but with a more alien look to it... Or a dragon, that doesn't have a cheesy looking head... Also, maybe something that stands out, like more 3D milling... Those are about all the things I would look for... Now for colors, blacks, reds, greens, yellow/golds, oranges, copper, polished. I hate when manufacturers use pink on everything cuz it's AGG... **** that, this is the 20teens... Hook us up with some damn normal colors! lol Also, maybe some military color schemes... Olive drabs, browns, cream, white, urban color schemes, Jungle, and desert, etc...

OLD FEEDBACK!
Why do people do this wanna-be hk thing? I mean hk people dont even play paintball, they just whine and start drama while wearing the weirdest stuff. Its amazing anyone embraces it.
Im putting the Hero back in Heroin.
I want your G6r parts and upgrades, sell them to me, because you wont get anything for them if you sell/trade them with the gun.
