T8.1 leaking out crono screw.
Hey everybody! My t8.1 is leaking out of the crono screw and I have no idea why. Where should I be looking to fix this? I'm hoping to use it on Sunday for a bit so quick help is appreciated.
Thanks

Have you recently taken apart the reg?
Does the gun fire REALLY LOUDLY?
I had this happen to me only once and it was because i was in a rush.
If the first two questions are yes check the reg assembly and the order of the spring/brass bushing.

Are you talking about the little pen spring or the big beefy one?

I put it all back in the way the manual calls but it's still leaking.

I had also problem with my T9.1 when i get it, it start leaking. After i talk to the trader, i grease all seals an O-Rings with Teflon-Grease (Silikon Grease should work too), and since then , there was no more leaking gas.....

Are you using co2? Is it leaking from the adjuster on the right side of the pistol or the one near the top?

Yea I'm using 12grams it's coming from the velocity adjustment screw.

Try asking one of the more experienced posters in the TIB threads direectly maybe like voodoo for example. Seems pretty knowledgeable and dont forget to check the tib forum itself. Also can always check a local tech or call tiberius themselves. The only time Ive ever had a leak out of my 9.1 velocity adjuster was when it got turned up to high and the relief went off, just turned it down.

I can't remember if my T8 was louder than normal, but mine was also leaking from that area, after i took it apart with the help of this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_SppACs-Ws
I found some loose metal crap from production in one of the holes, i guess it chewed through my O-rings. I cleaned both sides (big spring area and pen spring area) with a Q-tip until it was nothing left, then i flushed it with warm water and let it air dry.
After it was dry i check again with the Q-tip to make sure there was nothing left.
Tip of the day, take the whole thing apart, all screws out from the whole metal piece, check every hole you can find, clean it, there might be production scrap metal in other places too..
Exchange all O-rings and oil what should be oiled.
That worked for me.
If you have done all that and put it together according to that video i linked.. then i would REALLY check if the leak isn't actually coming from somewhere else, like the optional remote hose screw in the back of the barrel. I've had problems with both and sometimes it's hard to tell where the leak is actually coming from.
