Just got the galaxy nexus and absolutely love it so far, was about to jump ship to iphone after dealing with my DX for two years (Something I would wish upon no man) and growing sick of its issues, but thankfully I stayed with android. I have a few stupid questions that I could use some help with.
1) How do I access the phone settings (lol)
2) How do I turn on the led notifications for sms on the stock message app
3)When I signed in to my google account none of my contacts transferred over to the phone, and even if I re-sync it, non of them show up.

All help is much appreciated fellas

1a) on the top right of the app drawer there are 3 ":" called the menu key system setting should be in there-
1b) pull down the notification, the settings icon is on the top*

2)open up the MMS App (SMS) menu on the bottom right, scroll down to notifications, make sure its on, then go to the system menu and go to Display then turn on notification light.

3)when you were on ur DX, you prolly was using "Backup Assistance" and not Google Account. I know i was and manually added each one-
