Anyone have issues running a GT off SLP? I'm picking one up and I kinda want to not setup a ton of different tanks.

If you are referring to the bonnet removal tool, its actually a 10/32 machine screw that you can pick up at any local hardware store.

Hey james, might want to ask the guys in the Ninja Uses Club or post up in the Macdev forums. we haven't field tested any of the macdev markers but from what it sounds like, you might be able to get them to run off of an slp. Might be hit or miss though, depending on board settings and/or upgrades on the marker.

Will do. We ran all our old Macdev off SLP, just wondering about the new one.

I took the 2 red shims and 2 silver shims out of my 4500 reg. What will my pressure be at now and is that the correct low pressure for a stock G6R? Thanks

You should be at right around 425-450psi, just fine on a g6r

Hey rkenders
In most cases the ball seat can handle fine dirt or dust / and Larger particles usually just get imbedded into the ball seat without any overpressure or creep issues.
It says it right there.
If you have an issue with a manufacturer then please contact them directly via phone to talk to a representative or via email or PM, as was the case in this situation.
Please do not clutter their threads for other users and the representatives that are also trying to seek help with their issues.

If you wish to stop particulars before hand then Bob Long sells a fill nipple that has a filter in it as well as a dust cover that goes with it. I suggest purchasing it if contamination prevention is an issue.

SLP vs Standard Reg

I just picked up a G6R, and the seller included a SLP reg as part of the deal. I also recently purchased a brand new 68/4500 Ninja tank. If I take out all the shims in the new tank's regulator from what I've read that puts my pressure around 400(?) vs the 275ish of the SLP reg.

My question is, what difference will that make for me as far as efficiency and so on?

Hey Rob... Now that I've got a GT, and you know how our team is with guns, anything nice and new and pretty that might need a few extra testers?

Hey What Is The Best Pressure To Set A Ninja Pro Adjustable For A Geo 2.1 And Why. I Hear About 500 Is Best But Why Does It Matter. Also The Tank Is Pinging. It Is A New Tank With About 4 Cases Through It. My Other Tank Didnt Make The Ping Noise. I Messed With Dwell On My Gun And Made Sure It Was Chronod But It Still Makes Annoying Ping Noise. Piston On Tank Is Lubed. . Yes I Used My Other Tank On This Geo 2.1.
Thank You

We recommend 500-550psi because at that pressure, the marker will operate correctly no matter what your board settings are or what upgrades you have on the marker. In some instances you may be able to operate the marker correctly at lower pressures but its case by case. at 500-550psi, you wont have to worry about the marker starving for air.

In regards to your pinging noise you are hearing, you would be the first person with a Ninja reg that pings. Have you tried your ninja system on a different marker to see if it pings? That would pretty much tell you if the problem is with your air system or marker.
