We're still going over the rules, point-by-point, on the Living Legends Facebook group. Anyone who wants to make sure they understand the rules and don't screw up the game should stop in and join the discussion.

If you're referring to jersey colors, no.

With regard to ROF I urge you to please, PLEASE actually click on the link and ready the Living Legends V Event Rules. Rate of fire, and other issues, are clearly addressed. We do NOT us the GSRP (General Scenario Rules of Play) so it's NOT 27 pages. You'll get a copy at the event. It's ONE sheet...front and back.

The following is directed at ANYONE who is reading this and has not read the rules.

When you check in at the event you will be required to sign a form stating that you have read, and understand, the event rules. Violations of these rules can and will get you ejected from the event. Not to mention that not knowing the rules can lead to someone totally screwing up play, voiding the actions of 100 of your teammates in the area, and lead to unneeded embarrassment, and the scorn of your teammates.

So, please, don't screw up the quality of my product and the fun for everyone around you. If you are browsing the Internet you have the five minutes it will take, RIGHT NOW, to read the event rules. If you have questions this is a GREAT time to ask...as opposed to on the field, during play, in the middle of a battle.

how strict are the reffs on the chronograph? Like is there any leway if the majority of my shots are under 280 and say one is up to 285...or is there zero tollerance? Also how often and when are we expected to chrono?

No shot over the limit. If you are shooting 285 at the chrono then you will be shooting 285 on the field, which is above the limit. Not much point in saying the limit is 280 if we are letting people shoot 285.

You will need to chrono each morning, but there will be chronos at each end of the field at the insertion points as well as in the chrono range during the entire game. You are invited/encouraged to check your marker periodically to ensure that you don't violate the rules.

Many of the refs will also have handheld chronos on the field. If YOU ask THEM they will allow you to check with no penalty if you are over the limit. They will simply ask you exit the field and adjust your marker. However if THEY come to YOU and spot-check you, and you are over the limit, you will receive a warning and a judge punch on your badge. Your badge only has 2 spots for judge punches. A third rule violation will get you ejected from the event.
