Angel A4 Fly'd W/ Virtue question

just picked up an Angel A4 I can't tell if it has been fly'd or it was an A4 Fly either or is has the eyes and red lasers inside and It has a virtue board in it. When i turn it on with the eyes on it blinks and from the virtue manuel that means something is wrong with the eyes. When the eyes are on it fires but caps off at like 7 BPS but the eyes don't work. When i turn the eyes off the BPS is fully programmable and shoots some serious ropes. Has anyone ever seen this problem? Should I replace the eyes? I just wish the eye setting would work and this gun would shoot ropes like it does with the eyes off.

You have a standard A4 that was fly'd, sounds like something might be wrong with your eyes. Are the wires/ribbons damaged?

Yes that is right your receiver is probably bad.. Contact Dr.Strangelove and get some wired eyes

This is call Eye Malfuction defualt bps, it is ment to so ur gun down so it dont chop.. get new eyes from doc.

this is not a problem ur board and gun are fine you just need new eyes...

I just wish the eye setting would work and this gun would shoot ropes like it does with the eyes off.

Yeah that's right, that's a flied A4. As for the eyes look up Dr. Strangelove he builds the best Angel A4 fly eyes.

just ordered a set of the eyes hopefully when i plug those in all will work and rip ropes.

what do you think would be a good setting to keep the dwell at? its currently set at 20.

Naw 20 a little high try 9-14.

I'd also recommend 10-12. That's a really good conservative setting. 20 is way too high.

Your eyes are going in the mail in the morning

the eyes came in and i was in the process of installing them and i stripped the screw and was un able to get the trigger frame off. I will be taking it in to the local paintball store to have them do it. Either or I was able to clean my current eyes and they ended up working. I will still be installing the new eyes once the screw is unstripped...here is a video of the gun on ramping psp uncapped.

i know this is the wrong section for the question but the picture and video is posted here and you all have seen what I'm running. Is it bad to run a HP tank on this gun? i have been shooting it with the HP tank and as i have been reading more, to what i have read it could mess the gun up? It has beens shooting just fine though. what should i do?

If you haven't been having any problems getting your velocity down to a usable level then there's really nothing to worry about. If so, you can perform the mini-reg mod to correct it anyway. LP is the preferred air source, but if you aren't having any performance issues there's really no pressing reason to change it.
