Bushmaster 2000 board upgrade

I've done some research, and followed that up with some searching online and I'm getting know where, is there still a way to buy boards to drop into a bushmaster 2000 or is that all obsolete? I've inherited one recently and wanted to see if I could upgrade it still.

yes you can. there are still some boards that are floating around, or broken out for parting sales. you can drop in a new Kila Board for the Freestyle and Promaster. even though there is a microswitch soldered on the board, you can either bend the switch back so as to not accidentally activate the board or remove/desolder the switch. other than that, its a drop in board. i have a couple and do like them. they are just taller than most boards out there.

You could also tape the microswitch open. Upgraded bushmasters perform nicely.

Come to ICDO. Best place to buy, sell and trade ICD gear.

but yes, ICDO is a more direct route for modding and talking about ICD guns. mostly the people that post here, live at ICDO.

to a point, you can use just about anything you want, or can fit in the gun. Droid, Timmy, DM, Angel, UTB, anything. board now have all the same features, so one is not better than the other, just different interface and adjustments. some like the Droid or DM boards won't have a separate LED, so you'll loose that feature, but that can be a small loss in the grander scheme of things.
