Point taken--the testing I've done so far (with the good paint and fastest loader I could scavenge) I've hit around 23. The dryfiring we've done puts it over 29cps--but finding a loader than can actually put out that much paint has been a different story. I don't think the hurdle is the gun at this point.
Sweet avatar btw. I own two of them and love them

We are all on the same page. Unfortunately, the manufacturer was pretty set on keeping some things the same, and that was one of them. The cool part about the switch though is that it actually physically shuts off the power, so it doesn't drain the battery when it's off.

It is. I would say more but I want to respect the PBN rules.

Front grip is being changed--the above is just a prototype. You won't be disappointed!

IMO, the trigger is everything in a marker--and this one is good. You'll have to check it out in person to really know for sure--but it's impressive.

Much respect for Planet. IMO, they set the bar realllllyyy high with customer service, R&D, marketing, and the actual product.

looks, not so much, but seems like it has everything minus the grooves needed for a nice, lightweight marker! I'm going to assume that this barrel won't compete with a ul barrel so i think it's safe to say that adding a new barrel on wouldn't hurt.. new grooves in the foregrip and a new ul barrel and i'd say this gun would be amazing for it's price range

The Mokal Aura is an amazing marker out of the box. If Valken makes even slight improvements to the design and function, this should be one heck of a marker at an awesome price (assuming the ~$300 range rumors are true).

With a little groove in the grip, i actually like the size of the foregrip, it seems like a good, small size. I use an axe and i like it but if it were a little smaller, i could imagine that being pretty comfortable to hold. I hope this marker shows up on our Valken sponsorship forms, I wouldn't mind giving it a whirl.

I am guessing this is a planet fan boy. "Every closed bolt gun that is not a Geo is a Shocker bootleg."
I laughed, cried a little, then reassessed his ignorance and laughed again.
Shocker performance was great, but is not the only spool valve model. Won't be the last either.
Props up to valken, I am really excited about this gun. I just bought myself a Droid and I may buy a proton as a back up for grins and giggles. Good to see a company make attempts to break the model that is set and make the sport affordable. I love Valken/Sly products

This is definately a unique looking marker - it's not often you can come out with something without people moaning about how it's gun X mixed with gun Y, so on that front. I like the gloss finish too, and hope that makes it into production.
Only concern I have is the lack of radius on the rear of that foregrip, obviously you can't be sure about ergonomics based on a picture alone, but I get the impression that is going to be one of the first comments you'll get from people trying it out.
But considering it's price point, that is seriously good looking gun.

Funny thing about the Internet. I can claim to be anything I want and the foolish will believe it without proof.
Pleasure to meet you Mr. "Professional Scientist." I am Justin Bieber's big brother who worked under Donald Trump and owns three islands off the coast of New Zealand that I use for factories where I produce my uber paintball gear. The factories make a brand named "Dye" ever heard of my stuff?
See, I can claim to be awesome fantastical and convenient bull**** too.

You Also clearly forgot PLANET ECLIPSE! Bob Long does not make a spool valve marker either.
Last time I checked, DYE had or has the patient on the spool. Let not for get about GENERATION E.
Nice looking marker Don, I am definitely going to be looking into Proton.
