I stopped using battery percentages in my status bar, it really helps to fight "battery paranoia" as i call it haha i just put the % on my lock screen in case i want to know it..it just feels good not seeing the battery drop a percentage for every 2 mins of web browsing

Even thats to precise for me lol i cry when i see how stupid fast the battery goes under some steady usage
edit- scratch that, the bar is pretty nice. also, i feel like AOKP M5 is giving me some pretty good battery life
edit2- the new touchwiz actually has some awesome features:
PopUp Play, which will literally pop a video out of its player, rendering it in a small thumbnail so you can continue watching while surfing the web or doing other functions on the phone. The thumbnail is movable around the display, even if it's pretty small.
AllShare Cast, which pairs to TVs, laptops or tablets over Wi-Fi, mirroring whatever's on the S III. You can also use the S III as a game controller.
Direct Call, which will auto-dial a contact if you have their contact details or a message open. By moving the phone to your ear, the proximity sensor; accelerometer and gyroscope all kick into use, and automatically dial the contact's number.
Smart Stay, which uses the forward-facing camera to determine if you're looking at the phone. You can set time intervals from as little as 15 seconds, which result in a small flashing eye logo in the Android notification bar. If it recognises that your eyes aren't focused on the phone anymore, the screen dims.
those are just a couple, heres the link... http://gizmodo.com/5907416/samsung-g...ndroid-emperor

It is .. esp if you increase the window transition speeds in the one menu. I switched back over to PZ M2.5 since I kept having odd issues with CMPLX (PowerAmp continually scanning media even with it turned off, hundreds of wake locks even with kernels I used prior, etc). The difference in PZ vz CMPLX in speed isnt that much and PZ is just killer

I just wish I could put an AOKP style brightness slider on it. No issues so far.

using aokp m5 now. lovin' it.
edit: on my gnex, should I download and auto-flash the 384Mhz or 512Mhz version of franco's kernel r152?
edit: going for 384; if one of youse says otherwise I'll try the 512.

Getting all set up for 2.5 It's been awhile since i've flashed anything.
Edit: when you guys talk about restoring through a .zip, what do you mean? How do you do it? Do you just run a full batch backup and then does that make a zip in the tibackup folder that you can flash?

Alright, I'm just about settled in with aokp and r152. How does one get the blue navbar buttons? I'm assuming you have to set them as edited images.

I backup all apps in Titanium and in the apps menu it will allow you to create a zip file of the app that you install in recovery after flashing a rom. Boot up but don't add your Google acct yet. Launch the pre installed titanium app and restore all apps (user only!) and data. Then add your Google accounts and setup the phone. This is quicker than market restore too

So here is a weird one for you guys. After my phone has been sleeping for a while it won't turn on after hitting the power button a few times so I have to pull the battery then the power button works just fine. I'm on axioms cmplx if that helps.
