Two very different beasts. The CF boomstick is similar weight wise to most lightweight aluminum barrels. The CF is mostly used to offset the weight of the stainless steel used in the back. If you are only needing one bore size, the CF Boomstick is a little nicer barrel with the exception that it lacks multiple bores. It has a longer length control bore, SS insert, nice porting and I personally prefer an aluminum tip.
If you are wanting bore choices, the Deadlywind is the obvious winner since you can use the freak system. You can also get SS inserts for the Deadlywind which tend to resist scratching better. The Deadlywind is also going to be lighter since it is a nearly full carbon fiber barrel that simply uses aluminum or ss inserts.
Both are great choices, I went for the Boomstick when I was torn between these two systems, but simply because I don't mess around much with bore sizes anymore.
