i had a ego 8 before too, but whats really confusing is how he got the paint on his face. Did he get shot at the same exact time the bolt flew out? or did the gun some how blow paint into his face with the bolt?

You know, I usually never put on a mask when shooting nonsense in my backyard... But because of this... I think i'll reconsider. lol. Perfect safety lesson showing you that you will really never know what can happen.

I didn't even miss with the bolt all day! The gun was shooting perfectly all day and in the four years I've had this gun I had not had one problem with it or even chopped paint! This happened at our last game of the day. The ref barely had the words go out of his mouth when I shot myself that I thought one of their players had shot early. The only thing I can think of that would cause this is that when the ref said bags off i hurriedly pulled my cover off, and the cord accidentally nipped the bolt pin, lifting it up without me noticing because I was too focused on the start of the game. I didn't even notice until after the game that the bolt was missing because I got shot out so quickly and put my gun down hurriedly to get to the dead box. I had to wait until all the preliminary games were done for the day to go out there with my team to find the bolt. Thankfully I did, and there was no damage done to the pin at all! Now everytime I take my cover off I'm checking to make sure that the bolt isn't accidentally up lol

Looks like the ball came out of his gun. Gary Baum captured a similar image a few years ago. A player was shooting a Cyborg RX and somehow the bolt assembly flew out the back, along with a ball which subsequently hit the guy in the face. |

JNA Media was taking pictures, like them in Facebook because that's where they're going to upload them. Still not up yet, but soon! |
