I'm a onetime English major (Master's degree, to be honest) and I find all the quibbling about grammar here really silly. The guy is building a gun, not writing a freakin' essay about it.

I have a simple question that I should maybe post elsewhere but I'll try here: Why a bolt action rifle? Isn't semi-automatic superior in every way? I mean, bolt action is... 19th century stuff, isn't it?

when talking about real firearms bolt action is supposedly more accurate and consistent.

but perhaps he just likes the idea of a bolt action?
