Etha not firing

Hey guys,
I bought a new etha a few months ago only shoot about 500 balls through it and played one game with it. I got it out this weekend to test out the new rotor on it and it wont fire.
I press the trigger and it blinks fast red at me. I changed batterys and tried resetting the board and nothing. I took most of it apart to inspect the gun and all looks to be well and in place.
Can some one send me in the right direction? I apoligize in advance for any ingnorince sinc this is my first all electro marker.
Thanks

What does the manual say flashing red means?

What kind of battery did you put in? I have the best luck with Duracell.

Will the gun fire if you turn the eyes off?

I wouldn't have thought Everready were that bad. Glad to hear you figured it out.

Glad to hear it. It is always a good idea to spend an extra couple bucks for a Duracell. I never have good luck with any other battery holding up for very long.
