Broke the feedneck, Options?

Hi ladies and gents. I managed to break my feedneck today (right between where the top part clamps on the hopper and the bottom part clamps on the marker). It was my fault and I probably would have bent/broken a metal feedneck too, but now I'm looking to replace it.
I want to keep everything factory. Not a fan of the CP feednecks, but I can't seem to find any factory eclipse feednecks. I'd buy the stock etha feedneck again, or a black dust aluminum eclipse one if I can find it. Any ideas?

You can buy the aluminium, as well as the composite feedneck. Just call your pe dealer and ask for it ;-)

Cp... they dont look that great and probably arent as solid as eclipse but they're much cheaper and easier to find... If you really wanna go eclipse check out paintballshowcase.

I really didn't want the CP one after I broke mine but it seemed like the best option. It's well built and has grips on the top part that really get a hold of your loader. If you can get past the looks I would recommend CP.

I was going to say, if you call Gerry he'll just replace it for you.
Considering how much force you can put through that feedneck, we get very very few broken composite ones. I thing the added "flex" in them stops them often breaking outright where an aluminium one would just bend out of shape.

i took a nasty fall on sat in a woodsball game. gun landed about 5 feet from me, and was thankful the only thing that broke was a ball in the hopper. The asa was a little loose but easily tightened

bought one from Gerry to save my get out of jail free card for something major, though I really doubt I'd be able to break much on this gun. PE did a nice job of gorilla proofing it.

Lol It's not like a voucher scheme where you only get som many "go's" you know?!?
We'd be happy to give you a replacement FOC for a broken one of those. Like I said, we get so few it's not like one is going to break the bank.

sorry jack, that's what I was told when I called. I was told I only got a limited number of replacement parts, so I had to spend $35 on the feedneck, which is more than a CP metal one. I still prefer to have all PE parts, but I probably should have just bought a metal PE feedneck for that price.

Yes. Gerry was the one I called. Its really not a big deal. Any feedneck would break taking a hit like that I'm sure. I wouldn't expect Ford to replace my bumper if I smacked my car into a tire wall at the track.

Right now I'm excited for some prototypes I hope to be getting soon of something I thought might be a good idea...

should cut down on some 'kick', but I can't really tell how it will effect the antichop feature of the stock bolt's weight. Made the inner core removable in case there are sizing issues, kinda like tuning a lvl 10 bolt with its different tips.

Nice! The core diameter is critical to velocity. It needs to be a good fit to the internal dimension of the bolt guide. And the inside of the bolt body needs to be a good fit to the outside of the bolt guide. And because of the need for good fit in those areas, it makes the concentricity of the bolt core to the bolt body critical or you will get wear on the parts.
Just a heads-up.

As for the feedneck, I have spoken to Nicky who is on paternity leave at the moment and we both agree that our policy places no limit on number of claims against it. He will be speaking to Gerry when he gets back to clarify this point with him. In the meantime I'm going to be sending you a PM.

If your talking about stock rubber grips: http://paintballshowcase.com/planete...pscolored.aspx

The case you might be able to find in B/S/T. Or you might be able to find a case from another year that would work.

Shiny.

Also, Super cool to see Jack sharing info to help make an aftermarket part.

I'm intrigued ... what materials are you planning on using and how are you assembling the two components? Jack's comments make it sound like there was a bit of iteration in the design. Looks like you have a fun project for yourself
