I get a lot of questions about when practices, scrimmages, drills or plain old fun days are being held on our blow-up field. Having a central place to find current date/time/format info is one of the hardest parts for players trying to figure out when to play.
Goal of this Thread
I'm going to hard link to this thread from True Paintball, Facebook and probably a couple of other places. I'm hoping this thread will help those looking to find out when the next gathering on the speedball field will be.
Keep The Thread Clean
It is important that we not post everything that pops into our heads. There are lots of other places to have a good time sharing banter with friends. Lets keep this thread limited to posting info and questions about upcoming practices. If you need extended dialog, take it offline.
How to use this PbNation stuff to find out when others are playing/practicing
The purpose of this thread is to find out just that. Just read the most recent posts to find out when people are going to be setting up a practice. Some day this thread may be many pages long, and the very newest posts will be the lowest post on the last page. If this is the case, you can view the most recent posts by clicking on "Last" link in the page navigator on the right. I'd recommend coming around often to keep up on what's been happening. You can subscribe to this thread to send updates to your email using the "Thread Tools" menu on the right.

Format for posting a new practice:
Describe the format and goals of the practice below. Other information such as if the teams will be practicing together or scrambled would be listed here. Also, if you have a schedule put that in the description also.
Date: March 24, 2012
Setup Time: 9:00am
Start Time: 10:30am
Cleanup Time: 2:00pm
Setup Host: Boise Faction (squad a)
Cleanup Host: Dominators (squad b)
The day will start out by doing drills hosted by Faction until 11:30am. After that we'll mix up folks and play scrambled teams until 1:00pm, after which we'll keep teams together and practice for USXLGPPL National Cup. All practice this day will restrict side coaching and ramping.
A couple of words about hosting a practice
Hosting a practice is a "privilege". This is usually a lot of thankless hard work, but we haven't found a better way to do it. If your team would like to host a practice, contact me and I'll let you know what the requirements are (and they are not easy). Teams will not be hosting a practice until they have proven to the community that they know how to take care of the bunkers and equipment and know how to leave things nicer than they were found. Teams hosting a practice must also have high conduct and sportsmanship standards. Leadership skills are a must as the team holding the practice must require this of all players. New players are always welcome.
Who needs to help?.... hopefully everyone
If the field is making all this money why do the players setup the field? Shouldn't the employees just have it setup all the time? Those are good questions. We hear them all the time. If you want the detailed answer, stop by and see me sometime and we can go through the True Paintball's books. We cannot supply staff to operate this part of the business; we would lose money and would do much better to extend the resources for other uses. Without this type of help from our customers, our blow-up field would be phased out. If you're playing on it, lend a hand. It's a small community.
