Luxe durability!
How often does your luxe break or have issues, and/ or how do you maintain it?

Clean and lube the powercore after every day of play (usually 2-3 cases)
Lube the reg once a month or so (about every 10 cases)
I rarely have issues with either of my luxes

It will be fine as long as you maintain it after each day of play... Aside from the reg which stated, doesn't need to be looked at until about a month or 10-12 cases.
As you may have saw in PSP Galevston, players were diving into water and the Luxe never went down.

Once you get over possible out of the box problems you're set. I lube once every 4 practices. There's a common misconception that spool valves need lube everyday.

I find if you look at the bolt a week after its last use, it does a very good job of being dirty.
I like to clean all my spool markers the day before I plan to use them next. I shoot some reballs at home just to make sure everything is functioning rather than dealing with it the next day on the field and being frustrated.

Honestly, the Luxe is not as high maintenance as people make it out to be. For optimal performance you can clean it after every day of play. However, it doesn't require it. In fact, any marker would run better if it was cleaned after every use. So basically, it's on par with any marker out there. The only marker I've seen that requires almost nothing is the Ego but I don't like poppets. As far as spools go, you can't get better than a Luxe.

You're naive if you honestly believe the luxe "isn't as high maintenance as people make it out to be". If you don't lube it often, it will stop shooting. If you don't have a knowledge of oring fitment, and spool valve markers, it will stop shooting. Simple as that. They shoot great, but CAN be very tempermental. Now, can you find a gun that shoots as consistent, and smooth? Absolutely not.

I've had a couple weird problems with my luxe. Like the o-ring between the body and the frame split and it started leaking in the middle of practice. Also during another practice, it started leaking from between the reg and the frame. These were both simple fixes, but it's sort of annoying when that **** happens while you're playing and you have to take your gun apart while everyone else is playing.

This statement screams intelligence.
It is known fact that an ego is generally more reliable, there isn't an argument to be made there. The luxe shoots better, feels better, and is an all out better platform but the ego definitely can withstand more abuse.

I think your statements are too broad. Any marker, when deliberately not maintained, will eventually stop shooting. The Luxe does not require more maintenance than other spool valves. I've owned them all and have never seen a significantly more difficult process to maintaining the Luxe as compared to other spools. In fact, I've found it easier to solve Luxe issues as compared to markers such as the clone and dm's. If you are referring to spool valve markers compared to poppets I would agree. Ego's are much easier to maintain but don't feel as nice (IMO). As far as spools go, the Luxe is among the top performing and very easy to maintain. It would be naive to think that it is harder to maintain considering it was designed to be the opposite. So I suppose what I'm saying is: I don't really get why it makes me naive to dispel rumors of Luxe markers being much harder to maintain compared to something like a dm or nt. I think many Luxe owners can confirm that it is, at the very least, on par with any other spool valve.

My thoughts exactly. Ego is not a spool valve so stop comparing them to the Luxe like they are.

The person is not "low intelligence" for posting what he did. He is trying to express frustration with people constantly posting about how Ego's are more reliable. The issue (especially in a Luxe thread) is about how easy the Luxe is to maintain compared to other spool valves. To come into a spool valve forum and talk about how much better a poppet is just gets annoying. The Luxe, I repeat, is NOT as difficult to maintain as people make it out to be. General maintenance will keep it shooting perfectly. Negligence, with any marker, will result in damage or malfunction eventually.

It's 30 ****ing seconds to lube a luxe
Holy **** that's high maintenance!
You're the intelligent one that decided to say something

Let's keep it civil guys.
Let's be honest, any high end gun is going to be easy to maintain. Will the Ego be "easier" to maintain? Probably... there's just fewer o-rings to deal with. I wouldn't say that make the Luxe "hard" to deal with... just "different".
Now, as far as *real* durability, show me a Luxe that has it's grip frame twisted 45* and we'll have something to talk about
