So what did you guy get approved for? Full club? They going to let you have a field? Let me know I'm pretty impressed alot of people have tryed this and most haven't been able to get anywhere with UofI this is awesome!!!

We are officially approved as a full sports club here at the university. They aren't going to let us have a field just yet I believe, however, the skepticism is expected. I plan to go hard this first year and prove to the school that we mean business! Then they may be a bit more inclined to let us set up a field. Other than that, we may try to set up some reball in the fieldhouse for drills.
As I believe I have stated earlier, most people that try for clubs just try to make them because they want to play paintball for themselves but don't think about the time and effort it takes. I also don't do it alone. I have 5 other great guys that are just as ambitious as I am. I certainly want to play for myself, but I also strive to promote the sport and provide something that all students can do so that they can try the sport or play for cheaper than normal. The club is specifically designed to accommodate all levels of players. I just happen to be the guy to take it to the next level, and as I said earlier in this thread, I won't give up on it. We should be fully up and running at the beginning of next semester.
We find out more details of our approval tomorrow but don't worry, I will keep you all updated!
