Formula 1 or NASCAR?
Since people seem to be arguing about it on every F1 thread, let's start this one off. Which sport do you think is better, or physically demanding. Discuss.

It's a personal opinion, but I prefer watching F1. NASCAR does nothing for me.
Don't know much about NASCAR, but I'm assuming it's much more physically demanding driving an f1 car but the added laps in NASCAR probably makes it just as demanding.

The thing about F1 is they are exposed to much higher G-Forces than any other type of racing (except drag racing). They have to be in top physical condition unlike NASCAR drivers where most of them are fat. I'm not saying I have NASCAR, I just prefer F1 A LOT more.

Any Motorsport that will race in the rain Is better than NASCAR. That includes motoGP and WSB.

You literally have no clue what you are talking about, i can't think of one fat current nascar driver. those guys are in the gym doing cardio training 4 days a week all day, the other 3 they they spend at the race track in a 130-140 degree car breathing in carbon monoxide fumes, they spend roughly 7 hours in those cars for a single race weekend, and you can double or even tripple that number if they are running in the grand national and truck series. Those drivers can lose over 30lbs of water weight in a single race. They are peak conditioned and several them compete in triathlons regularly during their off time.
An F1 car is much simpler to drive fast than a stock car, because of how well an F1 car handles. they are 2000lbs lighter, they have better tires, no clutch, better suspension, and more technology aiding in the drivers ability to drive them fast. People who have actually driven both routinely have said the f1 cars is easier to drive once you get used to the speed. Where as with the stock car you have to be a lot more ginger in your throttle and brake inputs, because you are in a car that has a lot more torque than a f1 car and weighs a lot more.

good jpg for those that know nothing at all about rain tire design and their ability to hold up under high friction high heat scenario. The reason nascar doesn't drive in the rain on ovals (they do on road courses and have been for a while now) is because the high loads those tires would see going around a banked oval would cause them to over heat and shred within seconds. They can't handle the stress being subjected to them, this is the same reason why indy cars, midgets, asphalt sprints, and all of the other types of race cars that run on asphalt ovals do not run in the rain either. Its just plain not safe to do so.
so yes repeatedly post that ignorant picture everywhere in an attempt to be funny, just know that anyone with actual knowledge of the subject will merely see you as a fool.

F1 is glorified time attack in oversized go karts. Nascar takes driving skill.

Yes, F1 cars were built that way because they were meant to turn left AND right at high speeds.

F1 - where drivers are rendered irrelevant by technology.
