starting LEMUR tomorrow for the rest of my cut, probably the end of march. will keep track with a logbook and post a monster post worth of my results and findings. down to 208 lbs, im losing weight a little fast so i might cut down cardio a little and start increasing it more later on. i feel like a small frail ****** cutting

Considering switching back to this on monday. Those of you that are doing it/have done it - do you have any modifications to the original program?

If I did it again I'd increase the volume. I.e I'd do closer to 4-5 sets for burnout versus 2.

Had one of the best lifts in a month or more today on my first day of LEMUR, wondering what others have used for cuffs/bands for the occlusion training?

False. I'm not gonna dig through all my **** (although I'm sure you have the time to, and probably will), but this is the very first thing I did when I read about LEMUR.

You must not bottom out or top out the movement, releasing tension. If you have Kaatsu arm bands, you may use them at this point, though it is not necessary. Because the failure is not mechanical or neural in these cases, you can and should push all the way to the end. The second such set should be concluded by dropping weight with a "burnout set" (a single drop in weight should be fine, as the goal here is maximum time of burn - you're trying to convert high levels of serum IGF-1 to IGF-DES in the target muscle via lactate.)
Is the recommendation here to use a different exercise targeting the same muscle group? If so, on the first set, is the target 20+ reps at only one weight? Or is a drop set here acceptable as it is with the second set?

In terms on exercises, if the myo-rep sets were to be done with a bar (ex bench press or squats), could the pump sets be done with a machine which mimics the movement (ex life fitness chest press machine or leg press)? Or should it be an exercise which is more significantly different?

You're over thinking it. It doesn't matter that much re: exercise choice IMO the occlusion is the important bit

The goal of the myo-rep sets, is it to achieve a pump using your "working weight"? In other words, should I have a considerable pump after at the end of the myo rep sets?

If that isn't the case, the goal is simply to hit a repetition goal, no?

No. The goal of the myo-rep sets is to use the neural priming to extract maximum power and therefore muscular damage.

Additionally, it's a good way to hit PRs, specifically the FIRST miniset of the myoreps (that's almost always what I post in the "your day at the gym" thread...I'm doing more after that, but it's not of note.

The pump sets at the end of a given day are for pump.

so should i be focusing on maximizing the "explosiveness" of the rep, at the point where the eccentric becomes the concentric?
