Proto SLG
I'm getting my Proto SLG soon and i was wondering should i get any first upgrades. I was going to get the UL Frame and maybe a new barrel but anything else i would really need?

I have a Proto SLG UL 09 and the only thing that changed was the barrel, moved to a dye UL, and an on / off cp. some people also change the feedneck, but I found that there was no longer needed.
Moreover, as stock comes from this very well.

I had a problem with my Proto SLG board a couple months ago. Apparently there was a glitch when they made them so call up Dye and they'll send you a new one for free. All I upgraded on mine was the barrel to a Dye UL and an on/off ASA.

Get the gun and USE it before you add stuff to it dude. The only things I suggest, What kind of SLG is it? Get an on off as to not ruin your tank.
a clamping feedneck to protect your hopper. Other than that, nothing is really NEEDED unless you see fit.

On/off Asa, clamping feedneck, and a better barrel (which you said you are already getting). Those are the main things, everything else is just personal liking/disliking

if your SLG does not come with the UL frame, you can not add a UL frame to it.
Upgrade the barrel and the feed-neck then invest in paint and practice

when i bought my 09 SLG UL i had to get a barrel so i bought a cheap Proto .689 barrel and it shot perfect with my fields house paint. i added a on/off thread saver and that was it. I miss my SLG UL  |
