Static Tryouts

Static tryouts: There's two sets of tryouts.. One is on the 26th as walk-on rec ball because I'm bringing a buddy up there for his birthday at Pev's. I'm easy to find as I'll be wearing a blue Static jersey #42 and orange empire pants.

The second tryout is the December 4th tourneys at Pev's. I will be setting up multiple teams (for tryouts) for the beginner tournament so you have to let me know (far in advance) if you want to try out at that time as there is a deadline for registering.

Also on the same day (Dec 4th), if you are doing the streetball tournament let me know so I can watch you.

Requirements:
Age: Preferred 18+, minimum 16
Attend team meetings regularly as scheduled. 2 strike policy is strictly enforced
Sign a 6 month (minimum) contract joining the club - contract terms to be decided on an individual basis, to include team code of conduct, any sponsorship eligibility, length with club, etc.
Must have own paintball equipment (sponsorships are determined on an individual basis and will be discussed in team contract)
Must be willing to join a league if necessary (MILSIM Paintball League)
Must purchase required club uniform (sponsorships are determined on an individual basis and will be discussed in team contract)

Currently, we are looking for as many players as possible, however, 11 is needed as soon as possible to begin in March.

We still do not have a full roster and it's the beginning of March. We played our first scenario very short handed. Next try-outs in person will be on April 8th at Skyline Paintball in Strasburg, VA or at Warplay in Locust Grove, VA. Whoever I get emails from, the location will be determined by new recruit location. We will come to you.

If you're into scenario, check out 42nd Legion! They are very awesome! And I believe they are in that area.

Southern Maryland Paintball and Maryland Mayhem are inviting all dedicated players to tryout for Havoc, to play the 2012 season.

Mayhem will be moving to play a full USPA schedule in addition to 2 National Events in 2012, with Havoc playing regionally in the MAPL, USPA Novice Division and local events. Players invited to join Havoc will be guaranteed at least 8 events throughout the 2012 season, in addition to possibly earning a roster spot on Mayhem for national events.

We are looking for respectful and responsible athletes, who take paintball seriously. Mayhem and Havoc will be practicing together, and players are expected to attend all practices and events, including fundraisers.

Although the organization will have local and industry support in 2012, this is not a free ride. Tryout participants must have:

Transportation
Your Own Equipment
Financial Stability

Sponsorship details will be discussed with players once the roster is finalized.

Ideal would be laid back guys that have moved on past the Rec ball. Must have dependable finances and atleast able to practice (drills, scrimages, ect) twice a month)

We are looking to expand our roster, move up to 5 man, and add some dynamic to our current team. We currently play EPL but may play some CFOA next year as well. We are looking for mature players who are really driven and open to growing our squad. You must have transportation and your own equipment. We already have jerseys designed so expect to order one of our jerseys.

I am 15 and I love paintball. Me and my friend go out almost every weekend to play at PEVS in Aldie, Va. We are trying to get a team started. Right now we are not doing any BIG tourneys until we get a good solid team going. I will look into getting jerseys and stuff if we get a good solid team going. Unless I get a lot of messages about the team there wont be "Try-Outs". I will talk to you, and see how well you are. You'll play with us for a day or two and me and my friend will let you know. But don't think of me as a KID. I am very organized and I make a solid income. Haha! For a 15 year old. I mow lawns in my neighborhood and all so I make money. You don't have to be a GREAT player. We are just trying to get a team started. We want to do a 5man team but until then, its a 3man team.

Widow Makers will be holding tryouts this Sunday for our D5 5-man team. Widow Makers have been together since 2010 playing 3-man. After some time in the tournament scene we are looking to grow our squad with the addition of a 5-man team which I will be heading up.

We encourage everyone to come out Sunday and run points with us so we can observe playing styles.

Some goals of the Widow Makers 5-man team:

• Compete in 2013 CFOA events
• Compete in 2013 EPL events
• Practice twice a month
• Mandatory practice Sunday before an event

Some individual requirements for each player:

• You must have reliable transportation for practice
• You must have a reliable income

RT3 Kids will be holding tryouts later in September (exact date will be announced later). The team will be starting out as a 3-man team and we'll see how things go from there.

I will be starting a new team this year (undecided name) i encourage both new and experience players to come try out. The home field will be Bethel Battlefield and we will practice 2-3 times a month. We will be playing the EPL and other side events if we can find some. I will not be super strict but all players must be able to make practices and travel for events.They must have gear and MONEY to play. @Macky when are yall having your next try outs or practice? I just got out of the Marine Corps and looking to get back into paintball. Would love to have some decent competition. Last time I played was at Camp Pendelton 2 or 3 years ago. Looking to have some fun and shoot some paint. Live in Alexandria so im only like 20 minutes away from Pev's. Can't believe yall had try outs in weather this cold. Hating the 20's and 30's up here!
