leak in demon please help!

I am getting a avalanche demon. It has a leak out the trigger frame below the solenoid gasket. What is the problem? Am I going to need to a new solenoid and where can I get one? I've looked all over and can't find anyone who sell the solenoid

You probably only have a bad manifold gasket, or the regulator piston seat may be damaged. It's very likely not the solenoid. Check gaskets first.

You should disassemble it. It's not that hard, just put things back where you took them from.

The tech videos are just 5 threads up ^ that way.

I had the same issue with air venting into the grip frame and everyone said it was the QEV Diaphragm or the gasket but it turned out it was actually just the o-ring on the HPR. I'd check the HPR first since it will be the easiest to get too before taking the whole gun apart. Specifically check the 611 o-ring. That was where I had my problem. Just a little lube and it stopped the leak.

I saw that you posted in the certified tech help sticky. Have you gotten the Demon and currently trying to diagnose it or are you still trying to work it out with the seller?

Like everyone has said before it is most likely not the solenoid. I had the same problem because I was tinkering a little too much and it ended up being the 611 o-ring in the HPR; it wasn't lubed enough. I had air leaking out like crazy into my grip frame so of course I assumed it was the solenoid gasket but after removing the manifold to inspect it there was no problem.

Sometimes their was just a small leak that sounded like it came from the solenoid. I would air up the gun then after turning the ASA off I'd remove the grip frame and hear and feel a little leak around the solenoid area so that led me to believe that there was something wrong in the general area. I checked the QEV and it was fine and placed correctly in the hole. I decided to relube the o-rings one at a time to see if that would solve my problem and voila the 611 o-ring once lubed stopped the leak.

No problem it may be easier to help you once you have the gun in hand then you can start trying out the suggestions so we're not all just guessing at the problem.
