first shot drop
I just started experiencing first shot drop off with my G6R. Any reason that it would cause this? Can I fix it? It is more aggravating than anything bc, hey, it is a BL Timmy, a near perfect marker.

Lube the poppet o-ring. The vast majority of FSDO issues are caused by a couple of things.
1) The most common is that your 004 poppet o-ring needs replaced but more commonly just needs some Dow55.
2) Your battery is low.
3) Your board settings are off because you fiddled with the dwell and coupled with tweaks to the regs you get FSDO.
In my experience, #1 is the likely culprit. It's an easy fix.

OK, since I have never messed with the poppet, what is the easiest way to access it?

I would recommend reading the manual ontop of reading this. but you have to take the body halves apart to get to the poppet

I have noticed a lot of these style posts lately. I have also noticed that the amount of these duplicate threads have not decreased at all. So my question is: isn't easier to just take the two seconds to give the man an answer, or just not post? It's not like he ruined your whole ****ing day because of the thread he started. People being an *** on the Internet doesn't fix anything.

^ Agreed. The search function isn't perfect and sometimes you get something completely different than what you want. It could be because the wording or phrasing used or just not knowing exactly what to input.
With that said. I actually learned something on this thread about fsdo that I would have overlooked or never thought of.

Exactly. We've all had issues from time to time that require us to ask for assistance. Not every problem is clear cut. The search functionality is good in some cases but when you need a quick answer it's nice to get intelligent replies from the more knowledgable people. This forum used to be a nice place for civil technical discussion. It annoys me that too many wannabe tech kids are in here trying to dictate how people should post without providing a constructive answer to a question.
Great post Eskeoto.
