Kyle magic requect: add pbn Chat similar to facebook

it could have a buddylist like facebook, and store the messages sent in your PM's just like facebook does. i think it would be useful.

also add the forum jump to the bottom of the private messages webpage, thats been bothering me for years

If you would use the search function within The Suggestion Box, you would get PAGES of threads suggesting some sort of chat to be used on PbN, all of which include reasons as why chat will never be implemented. Not meaning to be rude or anything, but this is suggested nearly every month, sometimes several times a month.

its not happening because it would be too much work? what if it was just a feature available to ASM's?

that thread you posted L8r H8r doesnt explain it at all. basically people are afraid of the deals going awry? just make it save to PMs the same way facebook does, i dont understand how thats any different than PM's are now.

and as far as "ruining the forum model", thats just shallow minded. i do more PM's in a day than posts for my entire life (ok thats an exaggeration but still)

i'd rather be chatting with someone on PBN than on gchat or fb chat... that way the mods have a record of whats being said. just because "gchat, aim, and fb do it really well already" doesnt seem like a valid reason to not have it on here too... sports, including pb, are social. whats so wrong with this site being social networking?

its whatever i understand its been brought up before and me providing my counter opinions isnt going to convince u to do it. i guess im just venting lol.

Pm's are practically chat so ill just keep using PM's... $$$$$
