Probably the spring included with the rammer. It is longer and softer but seems to become alot stiffer as it is compressed. The Rhino spring is still probably the best option.

Stock on the left, Rhino in the Middle, Rutley on the Right.

I had to raise hpr up to get it to shoot 280. in psp 21.5 it was chopping paint.(not barrel breaks). Took the parts out put my v2 parts back in turned the hpr down to 280 fps and shot a hopper of paint with no problems.Tried the parts in my friends stock legend with the same results. I think rutley has a great idea I jus dont think that all the parts match up.
put the parts back in and bottom out the hpr so its at 0psi, from there raise it until it chronos the correct speed. Due to how light weight these parts are, at the stock parts pressure, the pressure behind the value is most likely too great for the weight of the ram to overcome. Main reason most markers now actually have somewhat heavier rams/bolts. Lighter is not always better. especially for a gun that has no lpr. one of the reasons why the old timmies shot so well. you can lower the lpr pressure due to the weight, which decreases the felt kick when running 50-75 psi to drive the bolt. unfortunately with a legend, the lack of an lpr prevents any sort of tuning so in reality these parts might be too light to be beneficial. Now without testing them, i cant say for sure, but thats what it sounds like

i tried all that and still did the same. i think that u are right when u say the parts might be to light. its jus like building a motor, u can take a block and put a big *** holley carb and it wont run for crap. the parts must match everything for the best performance

Try using the stock bolt with the new ram and see what happens.

The same way you do with his. Just take the stock bolt pin out. Or is the hole a different size?

That should add enough weight to make it perform better.

Or try just rutleys bolt with the stock ram. His pin won't screw in but should hold in unless it relies on the screw in instead if a ball and spring like stock.

His bolt just has a hole drilled through it and relies on the screw in pin to hold it in place. No ball bearing from what I can tell so using the stock ram and his bolt isn't an option.
