I shoot a tricked out 1.5 and kids just think its a 1.0 and think their ego9's are just as good, until we step on the field and find out that it doesn't matter if you have a Luxe, Ego, DM or anything else because its about player skill not equipment

Exactly. The performance difference between markers over a certain cost are very minimal to me. I've had an Axe, NT11 and Ego11 in the last year and sold the last two because the significantly higher gun costs didn't justify the performance 'increase'.

Once you step on the field with a reliable marker it's more a case of how you perform rather than how your gun performs.

Your advice is to buy a marker that no company produces, warranties or even continues to sell? A marker that is over 4 years old and can only be purchased used? One who's company no longer even exists?

I think he was right to tell the OP not to listen to you.

I wasnt even calling him a troll, in no way shape or form i dont buy into hype. I just shoot the gun that feels best in my hands and I love having a gun that is backed by a good company. I just think most of your advice is based off you own personal biased opinion rather then the truth, i recall a thread where you stated that the luxe and demon operated the same way. not even close, demon is a blow forward and luxe is a balenced spool. I am not a big fan of PE but you seem to bash them at every given turn. ive owned a G4 and yes i will say there are resembalences to the geo 2 but the quality and the refine ment set them miles apart. PE as well as other companies have hype, its marketing...... so get over it . I will say tho, even a blind and deff child could operate a PE gun, personally thats the only thing I like about them.

and i love how you bash the length of the luxe when the g6r,clone, ect. is damn close to the exact same.

Meh. My shocker doesn't even shoot as smooth as my Luxe. Most likely due to a greater volume of air in the Luxe. I prefer almost everything on the luxe over a shocker as well, especially when I have to remove and maintain my bolt. Is it worth $500 more? Beats me, but I like the Luxe way more and if something happens, I can go to DLX.

DM12 vs Luxe is interesting. A properly tuned DM is beautiful and I've never had to worry about FSDO with one. The Luxe is by far the quietest marker I've shot though. Ergonomically I like the spacing of the Luxe over the DM, but the UL2 frame on the DM is like an extension of my hand and arm. I don't like how the DM12 is taller than the DM11 though. Luxe resale is generally higher than DMs especially older models.

Tough call.
