Need advice quick

Tomorrow I will be in FL and I found a automag pretty cheap on Craigslist. He's asking $100, but already said he would go cheaper.

It appears to be a regular old 68 mag, power feed, revvy, and a co2 on a remote line. It has a double trigger with a chopped frame and an RT barrel.

It says as is and I'm going to assume it will be a rebuild to work. Do I take a risk on it or is it not worth the money?

It's worth it. Replacing all of the o rings is relatively cheap to do. You can get a parts kits for about $16.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I may end up getting it. He said he would take $75 for it.

No problem. $75 is a decent deal. try oiling it up first, Mags like oil. That might be all it needs. If not like I said spare part kits can be bought for around $16 and Mags are pretty simple to work on.

Good luck!

I've never owned a automag and I have been itching for an old school mechanical gun. I've had a bunch of autocockers and decided I want an automag this time.

I'll oil it up and see what happens. If not I'm sure I can rebuild it. If not a guy I play with used to be an AGD tech and I'm sure he can figure it out.

I wish it still had an unmolested trigger frame with a single trigger...oh well.

Lol I was always an autococker fan, but I have wanted a mag for awhile. I may not get the cocker after all either.

Seriously,Mir you want a low maintenance, no tinkering needed, reliable marker, get an automag with at least a level 10.

I'm still considering it. I've been on an azodin kick lately and I may end up getting a Kaos D. If I get a mag I'd rather have a micromag for the barrel threads.
