Ok so I have two Xbox games that were scratched after my Xbox was kicked over...twice... I tried the peanut butter and toothpaste trick but it didn't work, does anyone have a solution aside from buying an exspensive cd cleaner and buying new games ?

I went to game store once that had a disk resurfacer. It was only a couple dollars and it worked on my roommates game.

Maybe call a couple of local used game stores?

Yeah I called around and all those type o machines have been removed... I'm sol for now

If they are as deep as the scratches my games got from my xbox being moved, you are SOL.

Yeah, the problem with those is they actually remove small amounts of the plastic from the disc to smooth it back out. They will start removing data if you go too deep. They didn't last too long on the market but you could probably find them online.
I think The Game Doctor was the name of one of them.

Some video stores like blockbuster have the machines to clean your disk usually costs a buck or 2

i've got a game scratched like that, and it still works (with only occasional can't read disc errors). I used a disc doctor or something i had from like 10 yrs ago

Mine will work but won't take me as far as actually playing the games, and all the blockbuster places near me have been close down for awhile
