Nice! Good sneaky play, I like it . I've heard a ton of complaining over my years in paintball. But this was the first time I've seen someone complain about being barrel tagged too close.

I honestly can't believe that no one shot you while walking towards the enemy base. that was rather clever. i am surprised someone didn't say something about you walking with the eliminated players. someone might consider that dead man walking if you use eliminated players as a shield or a distraction. i however thing its super hilarious.

That was one of their medics... I knew the viewers at home wouldn't be able to see the white arm band, and I wasn't using my ZoomCam then as that was later in the day... So I ran over to A. see where they were looking, and B. get footage SHOWING that white arm band on video.

Right after that, I started towards another ravine, and the dead players yelled "two dead red AND A BLUE", which would have given away my position if I was still behind them.

But, I was already gone.

so you were following the medics. but yea casually walking to their base and tagging the leader was funny. so what happened when you tagged him. like everyone in the base was dead for 20 seconds or something. i hope you got a trophy for most barrel tags in a single game haha.

The base and general were dead for 5 minutes... Meaning they didn't have a chance with the current scenario task! I was on the decepticons side, and my general named me the MVP for my play!

Best part is, being named the MVP gave me first choice on the prize table. I won a brand new 2011 Tippmann A-5! Yeah!

No, as that would be "dead man walking" and cheating. I don't cheat, I call myself out if hit even if the paint doesn't break. You shoot me, and I'm out. It is a different style of play, but I never have to wait for a ref on the field... I rarely get hit anyway. Only got shot 5 times that day... And I was at their headquarters 4 times. (once is that general barrel tag).

I play the thinking mans version of woodsball, as I am too old to play the run and gun all the time. Often times, I see players that I could eliminate, but I don't as that would give away my position. You are way more effective using stealth and cover to hide and do things people don't expect. Do you think anyone expected a blue player to just walk right into the backside of the red camp and calmly walk into their headquarters...


Neither did they... Till it happened. No one would believe it if I didn't have it on video... But, I do.

I edited the video to mess with the viewers at home. They watch, and say, "wow, how dumb could the red team be to let him walk in there like that"... And yet, I edited it to make them think something (dead man walk) even though I was using a different marker, and wearing different clothes... People see what they want to see, not reality. So you can mess with them, on the field, and in the edit bay. heh, heh.

Playing woodsball, you really need to think about what is going on, you have to use strategy to win games, as just shooting a ton of paint will only waste paint... I'd rather one shot someone or barrel tag them out. As that is stealth and way more satisfying than just shooting a hopper at a guy hiding behind a bunker.
