victory leak help me u gun techs!
My v1 vic is leaking from the back cap, it used to leak when i would turn the engine to the left aka counter clock wise while the magnent would still be in the gun i guess there is a little room in there and when i turn it clockwise the leak would stop, but then when i shoot the leak comes back i think because it shifts the engine back into the bad spot. i just replaced about all the orings and lubed em and now the leak is worst... i need some help PLEASE i am using a LP tank and preassures are at 80 and 220 thank you very much as i love bob long markers i want this gun working tip top

remove the engine, unscrew the pin to remove the cap, than the two screw holding the end cap on,check the two aligning pins, one usually breaks, causing it to move around and mess up the oring,if the pins are good, replace the oring and should be good to go,i just repaired the same thing for my buddy, one of his pins busted off

if the back cap pins and oring are good, you may have put two much lube on the
tiny oring on the outside of the engine, they leak easy, also tighten the pin on the cap lock, maybe loose and thats why your engine turns a little more than normal, other than that it should be fine since you replaced the orings

leak
the lift up cap on the back has a silver pin that unscrews to remove it,its also the pin that locks the engine to the body, than there aretwo screws holding the back cap on,that cap has two bosses raised up,look like pins but they are solid
in the cap, they break sometimes, did you check to see if the screws are looose?
did you pull the engine and wipe lube off the small orings, they leak easy if too much lube

guess what, rebuilt my v1 last weekend and now it leak just like yours
i found out that the tiny donuts on the outside of the engine were leaking, brand new,ive been using another lube, out of dow55,the vic needs dow55,it swells the orings a little, dry they leak, mine dosnt leak done,i greased all the orings let em sit over nite, put it together and bingo.like new again, hope it works on yours, good luck

i asked.. the guy got a lil frustrated just by the question and replied "well if you called our gun tech he could tell you." in a less then happy tone and he said well he wrote in the notes that he changed the magnets and relubed the gun." and there was something else he couldnt read... i have loved bob long all my life and am just recently thinking about gettin into another gun. the sad thing is ive called for there gun tech the past 3 weeks to talk to him every monday at 11. hes suppose to be in by 10 30, and them tell me to call later and i cant cuz i have school then work so its a sad dillema down 85 foe something i dont even know what was.
