hey guys - just been slammed with extracurricular stuff at house. Funny how i label anything OUTSIDE of paintball extracurricular stuff, even trying to maintain my home. But spent basically Friday night, all day Saturday and most of Sunday moving furniture, etc. at home.

But thanks to the guys that came out to field Friday, Saturday & even a bit on Sunday to help prep it for the stump grindin' fella. He was there first thing this morning and chewed up stumps for about 2 plus hours until his machine overheated. so more progress made again!

Can't wait to see the finished product. It'll be good playing out of the sand trap out at Tyndall.

I was at our field on Friday and used up all 100 of the surveyor flags we had and about half of that neon spray paint also. There were a ton of little knee knocker stumps that needed grinding.

I can’t wait till it’s all completed but there’s still a lot of work to be done.

-Brush against the wall still needs to be knocked down.

-Some dirt will get brought in, maybe 4+ loads. Dan’s dad, will have to smooth it out with the tracker. Some people will be needed to hand rack out the high spots and remove anything that pops up form smoothing out the dirt.

-Then, Dan plans to do some sodding after that.

-Netting needs to be hung.

-A small building needs to be put up to house the compressor. Compressor needs to be set up.

All that between practice and tournaments.

it's amazing the people who are starting to get up with me again and have heard rumors that this was getting built and they are saying "is it true, the old Bliss field is alive again?!?"

this has really sparked a huge interest in paintball in the panhandle again and yes we are all anxious to get this ready to play - but like Mike pointed out, still a lot to get done, and of course we all want it sooner than later.

just please keep checking the forum or shoot me a text and we'll keep coordinating the work required to complete the finishing touches.

If you guys have any work on the field that you need done, (knocking down the brush away from the wall, Laying sod, cutting the grass, etc.) I'd be glad to lend a free hand to help speed up the process. I have a ton of small landscaping equipment.

i will be at work (which is that big metal warehouse in pics) on Saturday working on a few big t-shirt jobs. I can't be out on the field though gotta work to pay the taxes for the man (freaking $16,000 in taxes - not happy about it)

but if people would like to come out and thoroughly rake and pick up roots, etc that the stump grinder got, i'll be there about 8:30am Saturday and can get out the wheelbarrow and rakes.

Patrick’s been complaining for weeks now. He made about as much as I did last year and pays 110% more in taxes because of his business owner incomes.

I’d be out there tomorrow but a few friends want to drive to Dothan and play. Haven’t played in 8 week.
