Just ordered an extcy and a Ninja 68/4500 and had a quick question. Will I need to change the output pressure on the tank or will it work with the extcy without fiddling with it and without risk of blowing anything out?

I had a long standing love/hate relationship with my shocker 4x4 years ago but decided to give the extcy a try since it does get a lot of decent reviews.

If you are using your eXTCyTM with an adjustable output compressed air system, it should be set to deliver
about 800 psi. The eXTCyTM’s vertical regulator can accommodate a wide range of input pressures, so
exact adjustment of the air system is not critical.
air compressors cannot provide the high pressures
required to fill a paintball HPA tank. Paintball HPA
systems can be refilled by paintball fields and

you have to use high pressure, when the reg is broken in the give or take "best" reg output should be around the 550 psi. although i would suggest lowering it 1 shim at a time after the reg is broken in and find which you think is more consistent. tbh you can leave it at 800 if you want

Thanks. I was just a little concerned after reading a couple of posts about blown banjos and such on first airing up the marker. Now to wait for the FedEx man so I can play with the new toy.

mine blew after my 2nd day, but ive used it like 5 times since and no problems; i was just told sometimes shipping can mess it up. its a quick fix if you have the stuff for it or if the proshop doesnt have any other jobs to do atm

anything in the 500-800psi will work.. dont use anything over 800 PSI though to me safe.. like the SHP reg lol
