the idea is minimal taking care of your gun which p.e. has accomplished. i shot my ego 11 all season last year, 6 tournaments and about as many practices, i only squirted a little oil in the asa one time before the second milp last year, didnt fully clean it till i sold it after world cup. my buddys geo2 only got greased one time mid season, before the second milp as well, i know because i did it. he plays almost every week and is still playing on the same lube from last summer, and the gun still shoots pretty damn good, it could probly use some new orings, but it gasses up and shoots.

try that with an axe, or a luxe, or a victory, or a clone, or a g6r, or a nt, or a dm and see how far you get

that toilet seat ak is outrageous

No ones arguing that Egos and Geos are low maintenance, that's the only thing they got going for them.. but if you think a G6R or Vic doesnt stack up in terms of reliability with low maintenance, then you are sorely mistaken.

Aliens take less maintence and still shoot better.

Your argument is invalid.

From my experience Aliens need a lot of maintenance(and repair).Much more than my geo2 but I am not going to get into any arguments about Aliens in this thread though.

So now your argument is invalid.

The fact is Eclipse guns have a proven history of being rock solid and have taken abuse that few other guns could take and still keep shooting. I have seen quit a few "look at what the previous owner did" threads about mistreated Eclipse guns that still keep on shooting. I'm personally interested in this new GEO and look forward to hearing more info on it when eclipse finally spills the beans.

Bent frames arent a design flaw. They are made to do that. Rather a replaceable frame than a broken rib or punctured abdomen.

And PE isn't the only company who's frames do that

I seriously so hard when fanboys really think that a frame that was simply milled too thin was designed to break in order to prevent from injury rather then cut down on weight..
The whole "safety feature" is massively flawed anyways, there's no proof it even prevents injury.. I'm actually willing to bet it's more dangerous to have sharp metal directly in your hand.. you think that's a designed safety feature? give me break.

I have yet to see a release from Planet Eclipse directly saying that milling frames is a safety thing. I have seen lots of people post that and maybe I just haven't run across it yet but I would like to see a official word saying this is a safety issue. To me I would rather have a bruised torso then a broke marker. And also if it is a safety thing how much PSI will it take to break it? Enough to not cause injury? And if so many people are concerned about it what other manufacturer is also doing this?

some of these might help your dive and prevent a bent frame. http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?p=68592029

Lol

At PE they have this thing called "warantee"

So why would they design a bad frame if they are just gunna replace it?

It's designed to bend that way, and anyway...prevention is better than cure..learn how to dive properly = problem solved.

You can bend any frame on any gun if you weigh 300kg And dive like a mong.

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
