no time ..............
anywho, had a tourny today. played with incredibly brittle paint. My indy did not skip a beat and only broke 2 or 3 paintballs. was a beast son.

i know! i love the indy so much.... i still kind of am a gun whore, but things have been moving slow with this frikken angel... I'm really a spool guy at heart so i've been pondering about trading it for a clone since the feel is very similar. but i love how i can just ignore the indy when it comes to cleaning and maintenence, and with my luck the clone will poop on me.. i guess i'll have to wait for the alien spoolie......
or wait to have my marker design manufactured just got to take a few more classes and i'll be able to make the internals the perfect dimensions, draft it up by hand, and transfer it into CAD or SolidWorks.

it's done differently. It's simpler, and would require little to no maintenance. which was what I want.
the concept started as an attempt to make a maintenance free spoolie, but with the way they work air flows over o-rings blowing any lubricant off (thats what she said). so I simply modified the original concept it and made it into an inline poppet.. since poppet seals tend to be more reliable than the radial seals of the spoolies.
only tough part is making the right dimensions so the valve is balanced perfectly. if it's too balanced it wont seal correctly throughout the whole cycle, if it's unbalanced too much the bolt might not be able to return all of the way properly...

no room for a spring assisted return/i dont want a spring rubbing up against the bolt.
the latter would be too complicated... dont worry i got this
I've been thinking of a standard poppet with a magnetic ram and ram cap so the rammer actually never touches the ram cap on the return stroke making it feel soft shooting and help reduce any FSDO

A few of us angel guys came up with a design for a stacked tube that used magno internals. We pretty much have the means to make it, just need to be willing.
